Booking & Pricing

How do I make a reservation?

Visit our website and select Booking Online. Choose your preferred date and time and submit your event information, including your contact information, event address, estimated guest count, and any known allergies.

After submitting your reservation, you will receive confirmation information by email and/or text message.

How much does your hibachi service cost?

Our current Arizona pricing is $55 per adult and $30 per child age 12 and under.

A $550 minimum food charge applies per event, including parties with fewer than 10 guests.

Travel fees vary by service area. Please view our Arizona Menu & Services page for current menu options, upgrades, travel pricing, and available add-ons.

How do I pay?

Cash is the standard payment method on the event day and is paid directly to the chef.

We do not accept checks or credit cards for standard event-day payment. Some chefs may be able to accept Venmo or Zelle only when specifically confirmed in advance, so please do not rely on those payment methods unless they have been approved.

When do I need to confirm my final guest count and menu?

Final guest count, protein selections, and event details are typically confirmed approximately 7–10 days before the event.

Once your order has been finalized and locked, additional changes are subject to approval and availability. No changes can be made within 48 hours of the event.

Can I add or remove guests after my order is submitted?

Changes can usually be discussed before your final order is locked. Please provide your most accurate guest count when we contact you for final confirmation approximately 7–10 days before your event.

Once the order has been locked, changes may be limited based on food preparation, chef scheduling, and event logistics. No changes can be made within the final 48 hours.

What if we have fewer than 10 guests?

We are happy to serve smaller parties. The $550 minimum food charge still applies even when the group has fewer than 10 guests.

Additional food or eligible menu upgrades may be used toward the minimum when available.

Is gratuity included?

Gratuity is not included in the food total. A 20% gratuity is standard for hibachi service and is shown on your invoice.

Gratuity is ultimately at the guest’s discretion.

Can I choose or request a specific chef?

Chef assignments are based on availability, event location, guest count, scheduling, and event needs.

You may make a chef request, but a specific chef cannot always be guaranteed.

Can guests bring their own meat or food for the chef to cook?

No. For food safety, insurance, and pricing reasons, our chefs cannot cook outside meat, seafood, or other food brought by guests.

Do you offer gluten-free options?

Yes. Our chefs can accommodate gluten-free requests and have gluten-free options available. Please let our team know about the request in advance.

Guests are also welcome to provide their own preferred gluten-free soy sauce or teriyaki sauce if they would like.

Do you use nuts or sesame products?

Our standard hibachi food does not contain nuts or sesame products.

Please let us know in advance about any other food allergies or dietary restrictions so our team can review the appropriate preparation options for your event.

Can you accommodate other food allergies or dietary restrictions?

We regularly work with guests who have dietary restrictions and food allergies, including shellfish, gluten, dairy, soy-related concerns, vegetarian, and vegan requests.

Please provide all allergy and dietary information before your final order is confirmed so our team can review available accommodations.

Can I add sushi to my hibachi event?

Yes. Sushi prepared by our restaurant may be added to eligible hibachi events.

Sushi orders have a separate minimum and do not count toward the $550 hibachi minimum food charge.

Please see our Arizona Menu & Services page for current sushi options and pricing.

Setup, Weather & Event Experience

Do you cook inside homes?

We cook outdoors only. We do not operate the hibachi grill inside homes or other indoor living spaces.

Suitable outdoor areas may include backyards, patios, terraces, balconies, or covered outdoor areas when there is enough safe space for the chef to operate.

Guests are welcome to sit and dine indoors while the chef cooks outside.

When will the chef arrive?

Your chef will typically arrive approximately 10–30 minutes before your scheduled event time to prepare the cooking area.

When table and chair rental is included, the chef assigned to your event may arrive earlier as needed to complete the rental setup before hibachi service begins.

If you are providing your own tables and chairs, please have everything completely set up before the chef arrives so the event can begin on time.

How much space does the chef need?

Please provide approximately 7 ft × 7 ft of safe, flat outdoor space for the hibachi grill and the chef’s small prep table.

The cooking area should be clear of unnecessary obstacles and allow the chef enough room to cook and move safely.

What happens if it rains?

Our event will normally continue as scheduled when it rains.

The customer is responsible for providing a safe covered outdoor cooking area where the chef and cooking equipment can remain protected from the weather.

Yummy Hibachi 4U does not provide tents, canopies, or rain shelters.

Do you clean up after the event?

Yes. Our chef will clean up and remove trash generated directly from the hibachi cooking process, including food preparation waste and cooking-related packaging.

If you rented tables and chairs from us, the rental equipment will also be collected after the event.

Please note that we do not provide general backyard cleaning, house cleaning, or cleanup of guest-generated party trash.

How many chefs will come to my event?

Most standard events are handled by one chef.

For parties of approximately 30 guests or more, we typically assign two chefs. Larger events may have additional chefs assigned based on the final guest count and event needs.

Tables, Chairs & Venue Requirements

Do you provide tables and chairs?

Yes. Table and chair rental is available for eligible Arizona events for $15 per guest.

Our complete setup may include tables, chairs, table covers, dinner and salad plates, plastic silverware, napkins, setup, and post-event pickup.

If you already have your own tables, chairs, plates, and utensils, you are welcome to use your own setup.

Rental requests should be confirmed in advance. Last-minute requests may not be available.

Can you provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI)?

A Certificate of Insurance may be available upon request when required by your venue, property, or event location.

Please provide any venue insurance requirements to our team in advance so they can be reviewed before the event.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Event Terms & Policies

Please review these important event policies before your scheduled hibachi experience.

Cancellation, Rescheduling & Last-Minute Changes

Final event details are typically confirmed approximately 7–10 days before the event.

Once an order has been finalized and locked, we begin preparing chef scheduling, food purchasing, preparation, and event logistics.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the scheduled event may be subject to a $200 late cancellation fee. Same-day cancellations or no-shows may also be subject to this fee.

No guest-count, menu, or protein changes can be made within the final 48 hours before the event.

Weather & Outdoor Cooking Conditions

Rain by itself does not automatically cancel the event. Hibachi service will normally continue when the customer can provide a safe, adequately covered outdoor cooking area.

Yummy Hibachi 4U does not provide tents, canopies, or weather shelters.

The chef may delay, relocate, pause, or stop cooking if conditions become unsafe due to severe weather, strong winds, lightning, flooding, unsafe surfaces, or another immediate safety concern.

Guest & Cooking Area Safety

Guests must maintain a safe distance from hot cooking equipment unless invited by the chef to participate in an interactive part of the hibachi experience.

Children must be supervised by a responsible adult around the grill and cooking area.

The cooking area must remain reasonably clear of flammable materials, unstable furniture, blocked walkways, and other conditions that could interfere with safe operation.

Our chef may pause or stop service when a condition presents a reasonable safety concern.

Airbnb, Vacation Rental & Venue Responsibility

The customer is responsible for confirming that hibachi cooking, outdoor food service, and any related event setup are permitted by the property owner, Airbnb or vacation-rental host, HOA, venue, or property management.

Guests should review any location-specific rules before booking and provide our team with relevant restrictions in advance.

If a venue requires insurance documentation or a COI, please notify us before the event so the requirements can be reviewed.

Food Allergies & Dietary Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing accurate allergy and dietary information before the final order is confirmed.

Our team will make reasonable efforts to accommodate disclosed dietary needs and may adjust preparation or cooking order when appropriate.

Because food is prepared in a shared mobile cooking environment, guests with severe allergies should inform our team in advance and discuss their specific needs before the event.

Property Conditions & Damage

The customer is responsible for providing a safe and suitable location for the mobile hibachi setup.

Please inform our chef of any fragile surfaces, special property restrictions, or existing damage near the cooking and setup area before service begins.

Yummy Hibachi 4U is not responsible for pre-existing property damage or damage resulting from unsafe property conditions, guest actions, third-party equipment, or conditions outside the reasonable control of our team.

Cleanup & Event Responsibility

Our cleanup is limited to waste and materials generated directly by our hibachi cooking service and any rental equipment provided by Yummy Hibachi 4U.

General party cleanup, guest trash, decorations, venue cleanup, and household cleaning remain the responsibility of the customer.

General Event Disclaimer: Yummy Hibachi 4U provides mobile outdoor hibachi cooking and event services. Every event location and condition is different. Service may be adjusted, relocated, delayed, or stopped when reasonably necessary for guest, chef, property, or equipment safety. Customers are responsible for providing accurate event information, property permission, a suitable outdoor cooking area, and advance notice of allergies or special requirements.

By booking and confirming an event, the customer acknowledges the service policies applicable to the reservation. Specific terms, pricing, or event arrangements shown on the customer’s confirmation or invoice may also apply to that individual event.
